Provenance

I purchased this facsimile etching through Facebook Marketplace. I had acquired a small group of Long etchings, and while I sold the other two pieces, I chose to keep this one for myself because of my deep appreciation for the original painting, which is held in the Queensland Art Gallery.

Framing

This etching is framed in a discontinued gold Bellini fine moulding, with full conservation framing and rag matting. The frame was chosen to complement both the elegance of the etching and the surrounding collection, particularly the gold-framed John Hall Thorpe pieces.
